Alaska- Now it's Your Turn

Alright, readers (whether new or those who have-for some unexplained-reason endured from the near beginning of this blog), it's your turn.
What would you like to hear?

Some ideas for posts are as follows:

  • Reminisces of Africa.
  • Lessons learned
  • Another 'Learn From My Fail' session
  • Expectations of Italy
  • Future, long term goals
  • Other stuff
From this point, if any of you have a request then the comment box would love some company. There are about 58 days until Italy, so it's all about getting ready and saving money.
An important point I'd like to clarify-so as to avoid misunderstandings-is the end goal of my 'need greating'. For where ever possible, the end goal of going to these different areas to help congregations is not to gain the experience and to be able to say 'I've been there!'. No indeed, the end goal is to find an area of high need where I might move for a more long term period. As is, I still have the circumstances (through both effort and blessings) that allow that possibility. So why not?
As Paul said in Philippians 3:13: "Brothers, I do not yet consider myself as having laid hold on [it]; but there is one thing about it: Forgetting the things behind and stretching forward to the things ahead."

Sidenote: My tummy is upset due to the fact I've had but a week to work up the public talk for this morning, which is only a bit over an hour away. *Nerves*

  1. Oh! So your talk was TODAY! I feel silly. Well, I hope it went well and you didn't throw up or anything.

I remember your last "Learn From My Fail"... one of my favorite posts. Hilarious. So that's my vote. But only if you promise to do an Italian version too!

    My second vote: Lessons Learned

  2. I would like to hear some expectations of Italy. Also something about serving in Alaska. I know it's old news for you, but for anyone else it's new and exciting in it'self. The learn from my fail was hilarious though.

And I'm sure you did a great job on your talk. :-)
